Young Leaders for Good Governance (YLGG) Fellowship Program 2022

The Young Leaders for Good Governance (YLGG) Fellowship Program is a training program for incumbent local officials aged between 21-45 years old from all over the country.

For the past 5 years, the YLGG program has had 4 successful implementations and engaged more than 100 local officials all over the country, embarking on a wide array of activities and endeavors that promote the legacy of the late DILG secretary Jesse M. Robredo on the principle of people’s participation, empowerment, transparency, and accountability in local governance.

The 5th YLGG will assume a hybrid set-up and will be composed of 5 modules that will train and enhance the capacities of the fellows to effectively push for better public services. The fellowship program will focus on Bridging Leadership and Public Health and will run for 8 months from September 2022 to May 2023.

YLGG 5 is open for application to young local officials (board members, mayors, vice mayors, and councilors) with heart and dedication to promoting public health in their localities. Interested applicants:

(1) Must be an incumbent local official

(2) Must be 21-45 years old

(3) Must be committed to finishing the fellowship program

(4) Must submit a duly accomplished application form and updated curriculum vitae
