Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), is an initiative by the United States Government to bring together young African leaders from all walks of life and provide them with the tools and resources necessary to develop the skills and connections they require to become a positive force for change in their communities.
YALI Abuja is a group of young professionals using their skills, time, and resources to create positive impacts in Nigerian communities.
As part of our sustainable development programs, YALI Abuja Network launched the YALI Abuja Fellowship in 2020. The YALI Abuja Fellowship Cohort 2 themed; “A Better Me, A Better Nigeria” is an impactful six (6) Weeks program that involves placing carefully selected YALI Abuja Fellows with Organizations and Firms to enable them gain needed mentorship, career boost, and an opportunity to provide solutions to organizational needs in the firms.

Twelve years ago, the 44th President of the United States of America. Barrack Obama, launched an initiative that brings together young African leaders from all walks of life to invest in their future through online courses and fellowships in both the US and African regions.
This innovative initiative has empowered and brought together leaders who have joined forces to help develop other young minds and their communities. This resulted in the establishment of the YALI NETWORK in almost all Nigerian states, including the YALI Network Abuja.
As part of our sustainable development program battling Youth Unemployment the YALI Network Abuja established the YALI Abuja Fellowship which placed a total of 10 fellows with different organizations for a period of six (6) weeks.
