Who Is Eligible To Graduate At Unisa This Season 2022
Unisa Graduation 2022 – Unisa students who were affected by the postponement of graduation events can now breathe a sigh of relief since they will be resumed. The university has also shared some important information regarding which students will graduate.
The University of South Africa (Unisa) recently announced that postponed graduation events will resume. However, the university has also stated that only the students who are on the original graduation schedule and have received invitations to resume graduation events.
Please note that the graduation ceremonies resuming from tomorrow are ONLY for students who are on the original graduation schedule and have received invitations to this effect.
Graduations will commence on 29 March 2022 and will continue until 23 June 2022. There are two graduation sessions per day which take place at 10:00 and 18:00 respectively.
The ceremonies in Pretoria will take place at the ZK Matthews Great Hall, Winnie-Madikizela Mandela Building, Muckleneuck Campus.
Unisa also stated that they are making alternative arrangements for students whose graduations were postponed due to the recent labour dispute.
The institution further states that the dates and times of these graduation ceremonies will be communicated in due course.
Unisa had to temporarily suspend graduation events due to an impasse between the university’s management and organised labour regarding salary adjustments by the university’s council.
At the time, the university said that while the issue has since been resolved they had considered the declaration by organised Labour that the industrial action will only be ceased when the employees have received the payment.
