University of Nigeria (Nsukka) Online Master’s Degree Program (September 2022) in Public Administration (MPA)
UNN – University of Nigeria (Nsukka) has launched a new Online Master’s Degree in Public Administration (MPA) in line with its target of ensuring a functional, globally competitive, and responsive higher education which meets the needs of society.
The Master of Public Administration program, which will begin in September 2022, will be a 24-month rigorous program that will focus the evaluation of theories that guide debates about the management of public services. It is provided by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka on the AAU-eLearnAfrica Learning Management System, a renowned online learning platform developed by e-Learn Africa and the Association of African Universities to champion the transformation of online education in Africa.
The Online Master’s Degree in Public Administration is targeted at all stakeholders including African civil servants and leaders in development. The MPA seeks to equip current leaders and students with advanced theories in public policy for sustainable development. Studying the Online Master of Public Administration will provide students with the ability to apply the latest theoretical knowledge to their careers in real-time and offer the opportunity for students to build a practical understanding of public management and governance.

AAU-eLearnAfrica Learning Management System
In 2016, eLearnAfrica signed a collaboration arrangement with the Association of African Universities (AAU) to enhance online learning possibilities for students enrolled in the AAU’s approximately 400 member institutions as well as those universities not yet affiliated with the prestigious AAU. The goal was to provide educational opportunities to around 10 million African pupils. In pursuit of this goal, the AAU-eLearnAfricaLMS was created and will be introduced on July 7, 2021, at the 15th Quadrennial AAU General Conference of African University Leaders.
