University of L’Aquila (Italy) 2022-2023 Doctoral Program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) – Worldwide

Applications are now open for the University of L’Aquila (Italy) 2022-2023 Doctoral Program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The PhD Program in ICT at the University of L’Aquila ( offers 19 scholarships in the context of a graduate school of excellence around the major topics in Information and Communication Technology, with particular emphasis on “pervasive ICT infrastructures”. In particular, the available grants will be as follows:

  • 6 grants funded by the University of L’Aquila: on all research topics treated in the PhD Program in ICT X
  • 1 grant funded by Leonardo S.p.A on miniaturization of high-performance radiocommunication systems for UAV/UAM applications
  • 4 grants funded within the D.M. 351/2022 context:
    • “Regional Digital Twin”
    • “Spatially multiplexed optical communications”
    • “Reality-Virtuality continuum: study of a “phygital” platform for the physical-digital visit of a cultural asset”
    • “Smart villages: technological and digital innovation of networks and services for citizens and economic operators for the intelligent management of resources and the sustainable development of the territorial capital of the 2009 seismic cluster”
