Total Energies EP Uganda Internship Programme 2022 for University students in Uganda
Total Oil & Gas Company – Total Energies EP Uganda is offering internship opportunities to University students currently in the 2nd or 3rd year of study who would require a work placement as part of their study program.
Duration of internship: Minimum 10 weeks from May 2022
The Internship opportunities are available in the following areas;
Geosciences interns: No of interns (4) Req:55788BR
Provide support to the Geosciences department in areas such as Geology & Geophysics, Geoinformation and Reservoir Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Geological / Geophysical related fields (2)
- Bachelors in Geoinformation or related field (1)
- Bachelors in a Reservoir related field (Coding in Python Language) (1)
Business Development: Joint Ventures intern Number of interns (2) Req:55792BR
Provide support to the Joint Ventures entity within the Business Development department Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Engineering
H3SEL: Social Affairs intern No of interns (2) Req:55796BR
Provide support to the Social affairs entity within the H3SELdepartment Qualifications:
- Bachelors in social related fields: Social Work and Social Administration, Development studies or any other related field
Human Rights, Non-Governmental Organizations & Civil Society intern No of interns (1) Req:55800BR
Provide support to the entity handling NGOs, Human Rights and Civil Society within the H3SELdepartment Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Laws with focus on Human Rights
Human Resources & Administration Intern Number of interns (2) Req:55803BR
Provide support to the Human Resources & Administration department Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Human Resource Management (HRM), Industrial Psychology, Social sciences/Social Work & Social Administration with specialization in HRM
Contracts & Procurement intern Number of interns (2) Req:55804BR
Provide support to the Contracts & Procurement department Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce or related field
Field Operations intern; Number of interns (1) Req:55806BR
Provide support on Digital and internet based communication (prepare website) for the Field Operations team with in the Tilenga project Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Communications related field majoring in Web Design
H3SEL (Health Social Safety Security Environment & Land) Intern Number of interns (3) Req:55806BR
Provide support to the various entities in the H3SEL department Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree related to Environment, Sustainability, Social Studies and Engineering/Safety related field
Project Health & Safety Intern; Number of interns (1) Req:55807BR
Provide support to the safety team with in the Tilenga project Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Engineering or Safety related field
Legal Intern: Number of Interns (2) Req:55808BR
Provide support to the Legal department Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Laws, currently pursuing the Uganda Law Development Center qualification
Selection criteria
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree program from recognized National Universities
- Must provide introduction letter from University and copy of student I.D
- Current academic scores must reflect a potential minimum of an upper second degree
- Must provide a partial transcript / copy of academic scores to-date
- Must be available full time for the duration of the internship period
- Excellent verbal & numeracy skills and problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills and positive attitude
- Must write and submit an internship application letter
