Sassa Grant Payment Dates For The Month Of April 2022
Sassa Social Grant – With March due to end soon, it may be a good idea for Sassa grant recipients to familiarize themselves with the upcoming month’s Sassa grant payment dates. Here are the April grant payment dates for Sassa grants.
The South African Security Agency (Sassa) provides support to vulnerable individuals in the form of a Sassa grant. There are specific days set out for when these grants are paid to Sassa grant beneficiaries.
Sassa has provided their Sassa grant payment schedule for April. These are the grant payment dates for April 2022:
- Older Persons Grant – Monday 4 April
- Disability Grant – Tuesday 5 April
- Children’s Grants – Wednesday 6 April
As for the Special Relief of Distress (SRD) grant, these have a separate payment schedule to the usual Sassa grants.
The dates listed are arranged according to the last three digits of a beneficiary’s ID number:
- 01 APRIL: 081 & 086
- 04 APRIL: NO PAYMENT
- 05 APRIL: NO PAYMENT
- 06 APRIL: NO PAYMENT
- 07 APRIL: NO PAYMENT
- 08 APRIL: 082 & 087
- 11 APRIL: 083 & 088
- 12 APRIL: 084 & 089
- 13 APRIL: 080 & 085
- 14 APRIL: 081 & 086
- 15 APRIL: NO PAYMENT
- 18 APRIL: NO PAYMENT
- 19 APRIL: 082 & 087
- 20 APRIL: 083 & 088
- 21 APRIL: 084 & 089
- 22 APRIL: 080 & 085
- 25 APRIL: 081 & 086
- 26 APRIL: 082 & 087
- 27 APRIL: NO PAYMENT

Grant recipients are also advised not to go collect their R350 grants before they receive an SMS confirming that it is ready.
Should you be receiving your R350 grant through a bank account, it’s good to know that there is no fixed payment date, as Sassa has assured beneficiaries that they will receive the money that they are owed.
It is also well worth noting that Sassa does not pay out the R350 grant during the period in which other grants are being paid out.
