Samancor Chrome Engineering Apprenticeship Opportunities 2022 for South Africans
A remarkable Apprentice now has the chance to work with Samancor Chrome at the Middelburg Ferrochrome smelting facility in Mpumalanga.
The perfect candidate will hold a completed Grade 12/N3 with Maths & Physical or Engineering Science with a minimum of 60% and a relevant Trade theory subject.
- Engineering Apprenticeship Learnership – Diesel Mechanic
- Engineering Apprenticeship Learnership – Boilermaker
- Engineering Apprenticeship Learnership – Electrician
- Engineering Apprenticeship Learnership – Fitter
Minimum qualifications:
- Completed Grade 12 / N3 with Maths and Physical Science / Engineering Science
- 1x Relevant Fitter Trade theory subject will be required.
- Mathematics / Physical Science / Engineering Science with minimum 60%
- Proof of qualification to be attached and authenticated
- Will undergo a medical examination
- Will be required to undergo a psychometric assessment, hand-eye foot coordination test
- Must be from Middelburg
ADVANTAGEOUS:
- Valid Driver’s License (minimum B/ Code 8)
HOW TO APPLY
- Training will be conducted through SETA accredited training provider
- Basic Production Skills training and will run for a period of 6 months. Candidates will attend both practical and theory and on successful completion of the programme receive a certificate.
- An allowance will be payable whilst on the programme.
