Learnership Programme – Certificate in Shipping
Rennies Ships Agency (Pty) Ltd (RSA) has an exciting opportunity available. Unemployed Youths are encouraged to enrol for a National Certificate: Shipping (NQF Level 4) Learnership.
RSA is inviting applications from South Africa, Unemployed Youths between ages of 18 to 30 to join our 12-month learnership program,
A learnership is a work-based education and training programme that offers a learning opportunity and workplace experience and serves as an entrance into the industry for unemployed learners, a learnership’s main purpose is to create employable people.
The learners will enter into a 12 Months fixed term contract with the company, during this time they will undergo both on-the-job practical entry level experience and classroom training, resulting in a National Qualification upon successful completion.
The learnership available is: National Certificate: Shipping
This is a 12-month learnership contract and it must be noted that there is NO GUARANTEE, and there must be no expectation of permanent employment on the completion of the programme.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
RSA is looking for learners in the following subject areas.
• Matric with a 60% as an academic average
• Unemployed Youths between ages of 18 to 30
• Must not have enrolled for any post-school qualification or course.
• Computer literacy
• Good Interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be a self-starter, have a drive and initiative.
• Preference will be given to candidates that meet our Employment Equity and Skills
Development targets.
