OSSTET Result 2022 by BSE Odisha: Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has successfully conducted the Odisha Secondary School Teachers Eligibility Test (OSSTET) Phase 2 exam on 09th February 2022 (Wednesday). The examination is held at various prescribed examination centres across the state. Further, the board is on its way to declaring the OSSTET Result for the 2nd Phase. The same will be available on the official website soon.
The result will be published in the mode of a list of successful candidates. In the list, there will be roll numbers of the candidates who have cracked the exam. The board will take approximately 2 months in the process of checking answer sheets and preparing the results. So, it is estimated that OSSTET Phase 2 Result can be declared by the end of March.
As we already know, OSSTET Competitive test is taken to determine the eligibility of secondary teachers in government /government-aided schools in Odisha. Applications for OSSTET Phase 2 exam were called in December 2021. Eligible candidates were able to submit the online applications from 23rd December 2021 and 10th January 2022.
Odisha Secondary School Teachers Eligibility Test is conducted in two categories. Category 1 exam is conducted for Education Teachers while under Category-II exam is taken for Physical Education Teachers. A massive number of candidates appear in this examination every year to prove their eligibility to become a teacher.
Odisha OSSTET Qualifying Marks – Certificate
- To pass the Osstet Competitive Examination, the board has set points for different categories. Candidates belonging to unreserved categories are required to get 60% marks while in the case of SC/ST/PH/SEBC candidates, the minimum passing marks are 50% of total marks.
The qualified candidates will be awarded OSSTET Certificate. The same can be downloaded from the official website of the board. In the mark sheet candidate’s name, category obtained marks and subjects will be mentioned.
The certificate will remain valid till the candidate reaches the upper age limit prescribed for the recruitment of teachers as decided by the board. Candidates can sit in the examination more than once for an increase in marks.
How to check Odisha OSSTET Result 2022
- Log in to the official website of BSE Odisha at www.bseodisha.ac.in
- On the homepage, click on the Results tab.
- Thereafter, click on OSSTET Result 2022 (2nd Phase).
- Fill in the application number/roll number and date of birth.
- Check and verify the filled details and submit.
- Finally, check your result will be on your device screen.
- Take a valid print of this result for provisional use.
