Mayo Clinic Otolaryngology 2022 Medical Student Research Fellowship Program – Worldwide
Applications are now open for the Mayo Clinic Otolaryngology 2022 Medical Student Research Fellowship Program. The Mayo Clinic Department of Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery offers a research fellowship to medical school students and recent graduates that provides an opportunity for participants to work within our research program to advance patient care.
You will have the chance to fully immerse yourself in the research component of clinical practice as a research fellow, which will provide you with invaluable experience and training for your future career.
You will create a research plan, meet with departmental statisticians to create a statistical plan, and have a timeline for your fellowship as part of the program. Additionally, you’ll present to the department’s Research Committee, which aids fellows in achieving their research objectives and gaining presentational experience. Fellows also help with ongoing projects, database administration, and data collection.
The number of publications and projects that each fellow can work on directly relates to their drive and productivity. The department supports fellows taking on leadership responsibilities and being the first author on their major projects.
