Mandeni Local Municipality Youth Full Drivers License Programme 2022-23 for South Africans
Mandeni Local Municipality invites applications from unemployed youth who resides within the Municipal Area of jurisdiction to be enrolled and trained in Leamers and Code 10 Driver’s licenses.
Selection Criteria & Requirements:
1. Strictly youth from Mandeni Area (Age 18-35).
2. Must have passed at least grade 10 or above..
3. Must submit a certified copy of school report or matric certificate.
4. Must submit certified copy of South African green barcoded ID Book/smart card.
5. Must not be a leamer or a full-time student at any institution of higher leaming (private or public).
6. Applicants must be registered with Mandeni Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), the Municipality will verify each applicant with the local IEC.
7. Priority will be given to applicants coming from child headed and poorest families (Combined proof of family income to be attached or affidavit).
8. Must be willing to attend full leamers’ and driving lessons for the duration of the program.
9. Applicant must include motivational letter of his/her application.
10. Must attach proof of residence letter signed by the ward councilor.
11. Youth living with disability are encouraged to apply.
Applications must be submitted on the prescribed Application Forms obtainable from Youth Advisory Center, Municipal libraries, Municipal main offices Council Support section and Municipal websites. Completed application forms stamped/signed by ward councilor must be hand delivered by applicant to Manden! loveLife Youth Advisory Center (Love Life Youth Center next to Sibusisiwe Hall) for the attention of Mr N.M Mazibuko.
