Granum Foundation 2022 Prizes for U.S. Based Writers

Applications are now open for the Granum Foundation 2022 Prizes for U.S. Based Writers to apply before the deadline date (August 2, 2022). The Granum Foundation seeks to uncover and support the next generation of visionary writers and artists.

The Granum Foundation Prize will be presented annually to enable writers located in the United States complete or launch substantial literary works such as poetry books, essay or short story collections, novels, and memoirs. In addition, the Granum Foundation Translation Prize will be awarded to aid in the completion of a book translated by a writer located in the United States.

Prizes

  • Granum Foundation Prize: One winner will be awarded $5,000. Up to three finalists will be awarded $500 or more.
  • Granum Foundation Translation Prize: One winner will receive $500 or more.

Eligibility

  • Open to U.S.-based Writers;
  • Applicant should be up to 18 years old and above;
  • Winners and finalists who received cash prizes from the 2021 competition are not eligible.

How to Apply

Applications for both the Granum Foundation Prize and the Granum Foundation Translation Prize 2022 are open until August 2 at 11:59 pm Pacific Time.
