The Global South Arts & Health (GSAHW) seeks to advance education, scientific research, and interdisciplinary practice of arts in health, creative art therapies, and community art engagements in Africa,Asia and Latin America through a wide range of community projects, cultural exchanges, workshops, exhibitions, performances, and plenary presentations, among others.
The Global South Arts & Health (GSAHW) seeks to collaborate with arts and cultural organizations, academic institutions, public and community health establishments, government agencies, diplomatic missions, local and international organizations, private and public sector, civic societies, cultural producers, festival directors, and a team of Interdisciplinary students and professionals.
GSAHW is a one-week hybrid global event. This inaugural week of the global festival is proposed for Saturday, September 23-September 30, 2023.
GSAHW TEAM’S RECRUITMENT ROLES
All team members shall be awarded a certificate or recognition for their contributions to the success of Global South Arts & Health.

DIGITAL MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION TEAM
Job Description for a Digital Marketing and Communication Team
The Digital Marketing and Communication Team Member will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the Global South Arts & Health Week digital marketing strategies, including content for website design, email campaigns, social media, content creation, and SEO/SEM. The team member will also work with the communications team to ensure that all marketing materials are consistent with the company’s brand and messaging.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, website traffic, and lead generation.
* Monitor and analyze website traffic and user behavior to optimize website design and content.
* Create and manage social media accounts, including content creation and scheduling.
* Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage with customers.
* Conduct keyword research and develop SEO/SEM strategies to improve search engine rankings.
* Collaborate with the communications team to ensure all marketing materials are consistent with the company’s brand and messaging.
* Manage digital marketing budgets and ensure ROI on marketing campaigns.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
* 2+ years of experience in digital marketing.
* Strong understanding of SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and website design.
* Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM
Job Title: Administrative Team Member
Job Descriptions

Your role will be crucial in ensuring that the organization’s objectives are achieved, and deadlines are met.

* Maintaining and organizing files, records, and documents.
* Preparing and distributing reports, memos, and other documents as needed.

MONITORING & EVALUATION TEAM
Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Team
Overview:
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Team is responsible for implementing an effective monitoring and evaluation framework to track and report on the progress of the Global South Arts & Health Week Project. The team will provide critical analysis of the project’s achievements, challenges, and areas of improvement to ensure that the project goals are met, and outcomes are achieved. The M&E team will work closely with project curators, country festival directors, and implementing partners to ensure that all monitoring and evaluation activities are carried out according to the project’s plan and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and manage an M&E plan that aligns with the project’s objectives and goals.
* Develop and maintain monitoring and evaluation systems, tools, and databases to ensure accurate and timely data collection, analysis, and reporting.
* Conduct regular monitoring visits to project sites to collect data on project performance and provide feedback to project managers.
* Conduct data analysis to identify trends, areas of improvement, and best practices and provide recommendations to improve project performance.
* Develop and manage a system for reporting project progress, including preparing and submitting regular progress reports and dashboards to project management and stakeholders.
* Develop and deliver training programs to build capacity in M&E for project staff and partners.
* Coordinate and collaborate with project staff, stakeholders, and implementing partners to ensure timely and accurate data collection and analysis.
* Ensure that project activities and data collection processes are ethical, secure, and in compliance with data privacy regulations.
* Contribute to the development of program evaluation plans and conduct evaluations as required by the project.
* Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the M&E plan and make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications:
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as international development, social sciences, or statistics
* At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in an international development context
* Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis and management
* Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present data and findings to a diverse audience
* Experience in developing and implementing M&E plans, tools, and systems
* Ability to work collaboratively with project staff, stakeholders, and implementing partners
* Familiarity with data management software and tools such as Excel, SPSS, or Stata
* Understanding of the principles of project management and project cycle management
* Experience in designing and implementing program evaluations is a plus
* Fluency in English, with proficiency in another language a plus
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
