CSOS – Applications are now open for the Community Schemes Ombud Service (CSOS) 2022-23 Internship Programme. In accordance with the Community Schemes Ombud Service Act (CSOS Act), 09 of 2011, CSOS is a Schedule 3A Public Entity under the Department of Human Settlements (DHS) that was created to control party behavior within community schemes and to guarantee their sound governance.

CSOS Act empowers the organisation to help create and facilitate orderly and well-managed community schemes. This is carried out by resolving disputes amongst the parties, administration of schemes governance documentation and providing regular training and education to all stakeholders.

The Programme helps to develop skills by giving graduates opportunities to gain work experience in a variety of skill areas. As a result, CSOS is seeking applications for a twelve (12) month Internship Program.

The Head Office in Centurion will be the location for the successful candidates. Since CSOS is an equal opportunity employer, when evaluating the applications, it will follow the rules of employment equity. Criteria

  • Candidates must be South African citizens who have earned degrees in one of the fields listed below without having prior experience in those fields.
  • An internship agreement must be signed by all successful interns.
  • Degree in Law/finance/Auditing or equivalent.
