BIC Africa Acceleration Programme for Women Entrepreneurs 2023
Are you women entrepreneurs from Angola, Comoros, Ethiopia, Madagascar or Somalia? Willing to scale your business while contributing to achieve the SDGs?
BIC Africa, funded by the European Union, is a regional network supporting selected business incubators (BIs) in stimulating entrepreneurship and creating and consolidating new innovative start-ups in Eastern and Southern Africa, with a specific focus on youth and women.
The programme will run from May to September 2023 for 20-weeks and it will focus on supporting women business owners across all sectors and business types through a combination of live training modules, coaching sessions, exercises and a mentoring programme with women experts from Africa and Europe with high experience in supporting innovative entrepreneurs and start-ups.
Preferred candidates:
- A woman founder or owner with minimum age of 18-years-old.
- Aligned with at least one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Be available between May and September 2023.
- Already running a start-up /project and seeking to scale up.
- Demonstrate a commitment to participating in all the activities.
- Have access to a reliable internet connection.
- Have a good working knowledge of English language.
