AIM-COST Short Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) 2022
Applications are now open for the AIM-COST Short Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) 2022. Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) are exchange trips by a researcher or innovator to a host organization in a country other than their home country. STSMs are designed to promote individual mobility, strengthen existing networks, and foster international collaborations.
STSMs should contribute specifically to the COST Action’s scientific objectives while also allowing Grantees to learn new techniques and obtain access to specific data, instruments, and/or methodologies that are not available in their own institutions/organizations. At the same time, the Host will broaden its worldwide ties and establish long-term partnerships.
Note that in 2022, STSMs can be held anywhere in the world if funds are available and the scientific rationale of the special benefit of visiting the suggested Host is approved by the MC.

- The deadline for applications is May 20, 2022, and it will remain open until July 31, 2022.
- We will assess the applications as soon as they are received and award those that are of high quality.
- STSMs that have been approved will take place between June 1st and October 15th, 2022.
