ACEL Annual National Flagship Conference 2022 – (28-30 September 2022)
The Australian Council for Educational Leaders (ACEL) annual national flagship conference will be held in Sydney from 28-30 September 2022.
Our theme this year is Inspiring hope, leading our future. Never more have we needed such a sense of hope and belonging and an opportunity to cultivate meaningful connection throughout our profession. In a country as broad and diverse as Australia, this is an important opportunity for educators, student, educational leaders, researchers and policy makers to come together across all educational settings to share their vision for the future.
The program of the 2022 ACEL national conference promises to be engaging, interactive and provocative, building on the premise that conferences don’t change schools and learning organisations. People who’ve made decisions at conferences, do.
ACEL is pleased to open its call for papers for the 2022 ACEL national conference. The conference will include interactive expert sessions and keynotes, diverse panels, lived experience speakers as well as concurrent sessions related to the conference theme, which will be explored more deeply within five sub-themes as follows:
1. Recovering our people
How do we renew our people after the challenges of the past two years?
2. Redesigning for inclusion and equity
How do we inspire, redesign and deliver inclusive and equitable outcomes?
3. Repositioning school leadership
As leaders of the profession, how do we reposition the future for ourselves and our schools?
4. Reclaiming learning
How do we reclaim learning by valuing evidence-based approaches alongside creating and inviting new possibilities?
5. Reshaping the future of schooling
How do we lead, innovate and reshape our future?
Our conference sub-themes have been designed to both inspire hope and to equip us to lead our future.
If you are interested in submitting an abstract for the concurrent sessions within these themes, apply using the online submission form.
Presentations will address research, policy and practice from an organisation, system, school, classroom or stakeholder perspective.
